Why Should You Work at the Watkins Firm, APC?

A different path for legal professionals.

Experience and Compensation

As a younger attorney, paralegal, legal assistant, or administrator you want great experience and on-the–job training. You also want to get paid well. The more experience you get the more valuable you become to clients and other firms. We call that legal profession security and value. Most young legal professionals have these goals.

At an eight-attorney firm, everyone jumps in and does the same work a 10 or 20 or 30 year professional is doing with training and supervision. You will make mistakes, but they will be caught, and you will learn by doing.  Your skill level and competence will increase dramatically. We also pay for your continuing education, and you get a say in what you learn.

Building your Brand and Reputation

As a mid-level attorney (10 plus years’ experience) you will likely start thinking about building your brand to one day being able to open your own firm or just increase value no matter where you work, big or small firm -including the Watkins Firm.

At the Watkins Firm, our attorneys receive a unique bonus and incentive structure designed to increase client contact and compensation, and to advertise your accomplishments. Yes, we want our clients to fall in love with you and we will pay you more if they do!  We also encourage attorneys to take clients who have grown fond of them if they leave the Watkins Firm. We also provide a marketing budget to be used by the attorneys for areas of the law and groups they are passionate about.

The Watkins Firm has a flexible business model. We spend more on administration and technology than most similarly sized firms in town.  This allows us the ability to offer flexible terms and working environment.  If you are a competent, successful and an efficient legal professional that has some work life goal ideas, please reach out to us.  You would be an asset to our team.
