Sometimes a good idea can turn into a business plan and sometimes that business plan turns into a goldmine. To transition from a good idea into a business plan, many areas of California business laws need to be visited and implemented. In the initial stages of a business idea, the establishment of a solid business formation plan can be essential for the growth and longevity of a business.

A good idea came from a family outside of California, and the family turned its good idea into a business goldmine through calculated planning. The family business began as baking bread in the home and the “goldmine” came from the bread recipe called Dave’s Killer Bread and a company that began as NatureBake. The family started a business and grew it into a multi-million dollar company, which requires three bakeries to keep up with production. As great as a booming business can be, the family was faced with a delicate situation that many growing businesses face.

The delicate situation required the Dave’s Killer Bread to determine whether they kept their business as is or if they took calculated business decisions to grow their product through outside investment. The decision process took several months, but they decided to grow their business through a marketing partnership.

To grow their business NatureBake partnered with a larger company which will provide management and marketing. The larger company will have ownership of half of NatureBake in exchange for an influx of cash and business planning to promote the product and grow the business. Business formation requires the implementation of various laws and regulations, which an experienced attorney can help with to establish a successful business.
