Not only did San Diego rank high as an inexpensive place for start-ups, but in a survey published in Forbes Magazine it came in as the third best in the nation for tech-related employment. In two recent years, the city experienced a 16 percent growth rate for tech sector jobs and a 6.5 percent increase in STEM jobs.
